How it started
The feeling I got the first time I added hot sauce to my meat pie, was, I imagine, very much like the first time men discovered fire. My family, on the other hand, didn't always share my enthusiasm for condiments 😔.
While Sriracha was all I could get my hands on growing up on the Peninsula, I’ve since moved up in the world. (90.6km upwards, to Melbourne)
Gaining access to a new world of hot sauces (like 'Melbourne Hot Sauce's 'Spicy Sanchez' & 'Mat's Hot Shop's 'Peachango Tango'), I was determined to get my family on board the hot sauce train, and share in on the fun 🥳.
Fruit hot sauce & "The Tasty Stuff" came about as a result. 🥝🫐

On a mission to make hot sauces appeal to my ‘capsaicin shy’ family, dialling the heat down while amping up the sweetness with fruit was what finally got them on board.

How our hot sauces are made?
The Tasty Stuff, essentially, is just a perfect blend of fruits, vegetables and chillies (with a wee bit of spice, sugar and salt to amplify their natural flavours, making the sauce really TASTY).
We're really traditional. Even the recipe for our hot sauces is a family heritage (written in the year 2023). Okay, that's a joke, but we promise we're serious about our ingredients.
We're 100% plant-based and 100% natural, with NO preservatives or additives.
