The first time hot sauce hit a meat pie, it was life-changing. At least for one person. The family? Not so convinced.

Growing up on the Peninsula with nothing but Sriracha to work with, the hot sauce obsession was real but lonely. Then came the move to Melbourne (50 km north, for those counting) and access to a whole new world of sauces. The mission became clear: get the family on board the hot sauce train and share the fun.

Fruit hot sauce was the answer. The Tasty Stuff was born from trying to win over the capsaicin-shy crew, and it worked. Turns out, when you lead with fruit and let the heat follow, everyone's invited to the party.

On a mission to convert the heat-averse, dialling down the fire and amping up the sweetness with fruit was what finally got them hooked. Sweet, tangy, bright, with just enough kick to keep things interesting.

We make it in small batches the way you would at home, just with marginally more skill and way better fruit. It's all plant-based, all natural, and all actually tasty.

Oh, and because we keep it real, the sauce might separate sometimes. It's not broken, it's just natural. Shake it up before you use it and carry on.
